On our way to the OUTBACK!!!

Good Day Mates,
Term 2 has come to an end and we are about to head off for our “WINTER BREAK.” It feels very weird, back home is finishing up the year and we are finishing up the term.
The past little while we have been staying close to Ingham and getting ready for our big trip to the “Outback.” We head to Alice Springs and Uluru on Saturday from Cairns. We will drive a campervan there and fly home. This drive will take about 4 days. We will visit Uluru, THE BIG RED ROCK!!! The rental of campervans has been the best thing we could have done while here. It is accommodation and a car. Australia has many free camp areas, it’s great.
During our second week of holidays we will be up in Northern Queensland, visiting Cairns, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Kuranda and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. We are very lucky as all these places are only about 3 hours from us. We will be tenting it and enjoying the “winter” weather here.
Until our return.......
Mel & JC=
