Tail End of A Cyclone & No Power!!!

Well it is Saturday here and it has been eventful!!! Up early, spoke to our parents, lots of rain and strong winds!!! We are getting the tail end of a cyclone. The rivers are up and if it continues we will be flooded in. We lost power for about 5 hours and had to get the generator going. We spent the day catching up emails, unpacking and planning some vactions. When it was not raining we went outside. I am not meant to be a country girl! My books saved the day!!! Still trying to figure out the best way to post pictures!!!

Our Adventure so far....

Well, we made it. Only a few bumps along the way!!! We went from Ottawa to Toronto to San Fran to Auckland, Brisbane and our destination for Now, Ingham! We have started work and it is great. Different but it's all part of the adventure!!! We will post some pictures soon. We are still trying adjust a little. I have more details on our journey that I will send soon!!!

We Are Off!!!

Today is the day!!!! It has been a long week!!! It started last Saturday with our Going Away Party, Thanks to Russ!!! Our exchange partners arrived on Tuesday and officially moved in last night. After many Goodbyes and late nights we are now ready to go on our Adventure!!!

We arrive in Brisbane on Monday, January 25th, it will be Sunday for all of you!!!
